Our Parents and Friends Community (PFC) recently partnered with the Libyan Women Association to host a vibrant Multicultural Eid Ul-Adha dinner and celebration. The event brought together over 150 guests from diverse cultural backgrounds, celebrating the spirit of Eid through unity, colour, and joy.
As beautifully reminded in the Qur’an, the diversity of our languages, colours, and backgrounds is a sign of Allah’s wisdom and a reason to come together in understanding, not division. This spirit was truly felt throughout the event, where hearts and cultures connected across generations.
Children from the Libyan Women Association stole the show with a heart-warming Eid skit and brought smiles to the faces of other young guests by sharing thoughtful gifts. Laughter, shared traditions, and warm hospitality filled the room, transforming the Auditorium into a vibrant space of celebration and unity.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms Gulhan Yoldas, whose dedication and commitment to community engagement helped make this event possible. Special thanks also go to our talented female Media students for capturing the beautiful moments on camera for us all to treasure.
This celebration was proudly supported by the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Government’s Department of Home Affairs, helping us build bridges of understanding and connection within our local community.
